France to crack down on “pro-anorexia” Web Sites

France to crack down on “pro-anorexia” Web Sites

In ”France to crack down on “pro-anorexia” Web Sites” the reporter, James Mackenzie said, the franch government wants to have control of web sites that support women and girls to stop eating to get beautiful bodies. They teach them how they can say untruth information to the doctors when they asked them about their food. That’s what Health Minister Roselyne Bachelot talks about, and she talks about how her country’s law will stop those people. The law suggests putting those people in jail; they will spend two years, and also be fined $47,450. Then it will be increased to 3 years if anyone is killed by anorexia. Health experts say this problem will increase because there is a lot of uncontrolled advertising for food or bad exercise. We know about this problem after a Brazilian model died of anorexia. The fashion industry tried to make new rules; any model that has an unhealthy bodies can’t start working with them. That is what the French government liked but it didn’t impose the law.
